Executive Assistant to the Secretary Treasurer

Based in Albany, NY


Position Summary:
Performs confidential administrative work of a complex nature for the Secretary-Treasurer. Responsible for updating the PEF Policy Manual, EOL compilation, preparations for convention and executive board meetings. Works cooperatively with the paralegal and administrative personnel in the executive offices. Performs other general office functions and related work as assigned.

Qualifications:
Graduate of business or community college; minimum of 3 years of administrative assistant experience; ability to deal effectively with membership and elected officials, assemble agenda items, prepare/distribute notices for executive board meetings and conventions, prepare executive board agenda, code invoices, process and maintain PEF Committee changes in MIDAS, the PEF website, submission to GOER and maintain master spreadsheets. Must have experience with scheduling large scale meetings, in-house catering, and travel. Skilled in Microsoft word, excel, database, and spreadsheet software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Salary:
$52,967 minimum may be higher based on experience, with excellent employer paid benefits.
