Dispatcher

Based in Salt Lake City, UT

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local 99 is a labor union covering the entire state of Utah and southern Idaho for entertainment workers in live performance, tradeshows and exhibitions, motion picture and television, and more. Applications are being accepted for a full-time Dispatcher. This position comes with a generous benefits package. This position reports to the Business Agents and Office Manager.

Job Duties for the Dispatcher include, but are not limited to:

• Using CallSteward software to build and dispatch labor requests.
• Efficiently and politely corresponding with employers and workers.
• Work long hours and weekends as required.
• Attend regular meetings with the dispatch team.
• Keeping accurate records of work.

Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting competing deadlines;
• Minimum two years of demonstrated successful experience in a customer service environment;
• Demonstrated experience with working independently and with high attention to detail;
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Google product suite applications.
• Excellent communication, verbal, written and analytical skills;
• Positive and proactive attitude with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
