Through the collective voice of more than 17,000 members, the Directors Guild of America (DGA) helps empower directorial teams to protect and enhance their legal and artistic rights, contend for their creative freedom, and strengthen their ability to develop meaningful, successful careers.

The DGA seeks an Auditor to work in the Guild’s national headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.


  • Review production documents, identify contract violations and incomplete payments
  • Utilize internal database and other research tools to evaluate compliance with contract
  • Present audit findings and conduct settlement negotiations with film & television studios
  • Review production budgets on low budget theatrical and television projects
  • Collect and disburse compensation to Guild members and contributions to DGA Plans
  • Work with Guild executives to support contract enforcement and further develop auditing capabilities


  • Experience with research projects and/or conducting audits
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, effectively manage workflow and meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills; proficiency with Excel
  • Communication skills and ability to engage in discussions with third parties
  • Familiarity with entertainment industry and production documents and union agreements helpful, but not required
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
