Unit of Work

Lead Labor Organizer

May be worked remote or in-person in New York City, NY

About
Unit of Work makes Unit, a platform to give workers superpowers in a system otherwise stacked against them. Although most people in the US support labor unions, most workers don't know how to start or run one. Unit is a new way for workers to team up, organize coworkers, form their own labor union, and improve their workplace together.

Unit of Work is a for-profit worker-side labor consultancy and public benefit corporation with the following public benefit: "supporting the rights of workers to organize to improve their places of work." Unit's secret sauce is a combination of software tools, best practices, and a team of worker-side advisors.

We need your help! Unit is just beginning, and you will be a first team member. By joining us today, you will shape the future of advice and tools for worker-led organizing.

Unit of Work fully supports the rights of Unit employees to unionize. We are an equal opportunity employer and actively recruit people of color, women, individuals with disabilities, and members of the LGBTQ community.
