Salary: $3,900 per month

DUTIES: Under the direction of the Political Finance and Compliance Coordinator, assists the Department, affiliates and staff with calculating, maintaining and disbursing program budget.  Assists with the maintenance and preparation of disbursement and compliance forms, reports, filings, and contribution/grant letters. Provides research on campaign finance and lobbying regulations/interpretations and assists with political finance and compliance issues.  Works closely with staff on the development and maintenance of the political program budgets.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of one year of related work experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience and provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities (Accounting background preferred): knowledge of the political and legislative process; knowledge of campaign compliance and reporting processes; leadership and motivational skills; and excellent oral and written communications skills.  Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, work independently and meet rigorous deadlines.  A high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail desired.  Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Valid driver’s license and automobile, variable work schedules, and temporary assignments are necessary.
