About This Role
This role analyzes the data around our Union’s 45,000+ members. This role will take responsibility for developing reports, tracking membership trends, and performing predictive analysis as needed. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a Data Analyst, and a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
Location: Hybrid of remote work and work based out of SEIU 775 HQ (Seattle)
Essential Functions:
- Data analysis experience
- Experience and high level of SQL competency and proficiency
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with other analysts if necessary.
- Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
- Develop reports and analysis from single or multiple systems.
- Helping manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
- Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Abilities:
- Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
- Experience performing quality checks in order to provide accurate reports.
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well and creatively under tight deadlines, in a team environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or college in computer science and/or equivalent experience working with database systems and complex data reporting with increasing levels of responsibility
- Salesforce experience
- SQL and/or Apex SQL Programming experience
- Predictive Analytics experience, preferred
- Experience working with a labor union, progressive non-profit, community organization, advocacy group, political campaign, or elected official, preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to creating positive work/employer relationships while fighting to raise standards for all workers in the industry is also a plus, preferred

Compensation:
This position is Full-Time, Exempt. Salary and benefits set by collectively bargained contract; pay ranges from $72,996 – 92,226 per year. Benefits include vacation, holiday and sick leave benefits, fully paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance, defined benefit pension plan, and optional 401(k), WFH credit during pandemic, and more.
