Title: Senior Digital Ads Specialist (FT, permanent position)
Compensation: $71,000-$79,000 starting salary, depending on experience and skill.

Overview
O2O Strategy Group (O2O) seeks a Senior Digital Ads Specialist to lead social media ad campaigns on a range of issues including workplace organizing, public education, the care economy, corporate accountability, climate change, and more. Ideal candidates will be highly proficient in the following areas:

  1. Managing effective digital ad campaigns to generate leads and mobilize people.
  2. Producing compelling audio-visual and written content for ads that helps organizers move people to action.
  3. Developing systems for data management, analysis, and informing campaign strategy across digital and organizing teams.

Core Functions & Competencies
The Senior Digital Ads Specialist will:

  • Formulate data-driven digital ad campaigns (primarily on Meta) to test messaging, generate leads for organizers, and move audiences to action on a range of issues.
  • Produce persuasive audio-visual and written content for ads and other digital mediums.
  • Work with the O2O ads team and client teams to set up the systems needed for rapid followup with leads and maintain feedback loops to inform both ads and outreach strategy.
  • Help O2O clients develop the visual identity and messaging for their campaigns as needed.
  • Provide O2O clients with regular updates and reports of what’s working, areas for improvement, new opportunities, and evolving industry best practices.
  • Develop curriculum, recruit training participants, and lead training sessions for our movement partners on best practices of using digital ads for organizing.

Required Competencies:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience working in progressive campaigns or marketing.
  • At least 2 years experience running ads on Meta, Google search, or other media platforms with a track record of producing quality results from a target audience and managing an ads budget.
  • Proficiency with platform analytics, A/B testing, and utilizing outreach data to understand and optimize ad performance.
  • Strong research and data skills to improve audience targeting.
  • Strong visual communication skills with a command of at least one design program and the ability to coach others on creating short, persuasive videos.
  • Skilled in project management and balancing the need for high quality work with expediency to meet campaign timelines.
  • Capable of working independently, highly accountable to team members and clients, and effective working in a remote environment.
  • Intermediate level of skill in Google Sheets or Excel with proficiency in vlookup and other functions.
  • Proficient with digital tools for organizing (social media, SMS, databases, Action Network, Zapier, etc.) and for team coordination (Slack, Google Apps, Zoom)
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice and can compellingly articulate issues facing BIPOC communities, low-income families, and LGBT+.

Nice to Haves:

  • Proficiency with web design, programming, or statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or another language besides English.

Salary & Benefits
O2O uses a transparent salary scale developed by our staff board that includes annual raises of between 2-4%, plus a cost of living increase when determined by the federal government. This position is presently graded at the Senior level with a starting salary between $71,000-$79,000, depending on experience and skill.

O2O’s time off benefits include:

  • 20 days paid holiday leave
  • 17 days vacation (for first 2 years of employment and increases thereafter)
  • 12 days sick leave
  • 12 weeks parental leave
  • 8 weeks sabbatical (after every four years of employment)
