General Description:
This a senior management position whose role is to provide, in coordination with all Divisions Directors, oversight and supervision, of strategic campaign initiatives for Health Care Networks or Systems.
Responsibilities:
- The position will work with MNA bargaining units in Health Care Networks to coordinate bargaining among facilities within the network and with Divisional activities to maximize bargaining effectiveness and increase MNA representation within and among Health Care Networks.
- Keep up to date and knowledgeable on state and national trends in health care and nursing.
- Direct and supervise professional and support staff.
- Collaborate with other divisions and structural units of the MNA to further the goals and objectives of the MNA.
- Participate as member of the management team.
- Represent the MNA and the Executive Director as directed.
- Other relevant duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- Broad experience in collective bargaining, specifically, negotiating experience in health care and significant experience in strategic campaigns involvement in multiple facility coordinated bargaining.
- Masters in Labor preferred.
