Accounting Coordinator

Based in Camp Springs, MD

 

Large non-profit organization located in Camp Springs, MD has an opening for an Accounting Coordinator. Seeking a hands-on and detail oriented individual with leadership abilities. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is desired. A combination of education and work experience will be accepted. Current students and candidates nearing degree completion are encouraged to apply. Educational benefits/reimbursement is offered for degree seeking employees (eligible after 13 months). CPA candidate expenses and continuing education expense reimbursement also offered.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience leading a team and directing the work of others is a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, working/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and working knowledge of Sage Intacct desired. Experience with A/P and A/R review and posting, journal entry preparation, investments and bank reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting is desired. Experience with Labor Unions/related organizations is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year
