Video Producer / Photographer

Based in Washington, DC

 

Summary
The IBEW’s Media Department is looking for a candidate to tell compelling stories of our union members through video and photos. The ideal person for the job will shoot video, still photography, and edit video. Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to work cooperatively within our 5-person video team is a must.

Representative Major Duties

  1. Works with the IBEW’s video team to create professional video content.
  2. Has the ability to conceive a video, plan logistics, record and edit a compelling, visually appealing finished project.
  3. Has experience with producing social media content for multiple platforms and familiarity with current trends and engagement strategies.
  4. Coordinates simultaneous ongoing projects and deadlines and works well with others under tight time constraints.
  5. Experience with event and portrait photography.
  6. Must be able to travel.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

General Comments
This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional video / content production environment. Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and professional cameras, Including the ability to light a scene in a studio and on location. Studio production and podcast experience is a plus.

The position will be based in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid work schedule and a requirement for travel.

Pay Range: $100,000.00 – $128,000.00
