Job Title: CEO instructor
Must have ability to teach earth moving equipment. (i.e., Loader, dozer, scraper, backhoe, forklift, etc.)
Location: Operating Engineers local 3 JAC, 17308 Interstate 80 East Wadsworth, NV. 89442
Hour/Week: Tuesday thru Saturday 7:00am to 5:00pm 
Wages & Benefits: Weekly Salary $2,585
Education: High school diploma or GED
Licenses and/or certifications

• First Aid/CPR Certification 
• Valid Nevada Driver’s license

Experience
10 years journey-level experience as an Operating Engineer. Gradesetting knowledge, Teaching and/or supervisory experience a plus

Other requirements   

• Be a member in good standing with the Operating Engineers Local #3. 
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiar with computers and software. 
• Good organizational skills. 
• Ability to meet schedules and deadlines. 
• Ability to work in a professional team environment. 
• Ability to foster a positive team environment.

Description of duties and responsibilities   

• Provide both field and classroom training to all levels of apprentices and/or journey-level operators.
• Provide professional and constructive feedback and conduct student evaluations
• Develop and revise curriculum for assigned classes.
• Maintain daily training records.
• Conduct classroom safety meetings at the JAC.
• Attend district meetings and other JAC and Local 3 events.
• Become familiar with and enforce the Apprenticeship Standards, Rules, and Regulations of Registered Apprentices.
