Hayes, Ortega & Sánchez is a union-side labor law firm with offices in Los Angeles County and San Diego County. We represent labor unions and their members in both the public and private sectors. We seek an Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience for our Los Angeles office. 

Our practice includes representing union clients in labor arbitrations, labor contract negotiations, litigation, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). We also perform legal research and provide written opinions for clients on a variety of labor and employment law issues. 

Qualifications:

• A Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing with the California Bar.
• An excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in briefs and oral argument.
• Ability to perform legal research.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Compensation is competitive and the firm offers an excellent benefits package that includes fully paid healthcare premiums, life insurance, long-term disability, sick leave, vacation, and automatic contributions of 3% to an ABA 401k plan after one year.
