UNITE HERE is a militant union of food service and hospitality workers fighting for justice. 

As the ruling class descends further into anti-worker fascism, we are demanding living wages, healthcare coverage, employer-funded pensions, respect, dignity, and safety on the job, and we are winning. This year alone, hundreds of dining service workers at two Virginia HBCUs won their union, joining the nearly 2,000 servers, cooks, dishwashers, baristas, and other hospitality workers across Virginia who have secured union contracts with UNITE HERE in the last four years.

UNITE HERE Local 23 is seeking Organizing Interns in Charlottesville / Albermarle County to join our campaigns in the hospitality industry. Our internship program allows you to get hands-on organizing training with personal attention from experienced organizers who have fought and won big campaigns. You join a team of other people with a hunger to learn organizing skills and take on the rich and powerful through rank-and-file action!
